Anniversary Dinner, 9 years ago...

For our ninth year anniversary since our wedding, we wanted to do something special. One of my colleagues from work has a husband who has a very nice brand-new plane. The plane did have a turboprop which meant you had a turbine engine that powered the propeller. His plane was brand-new with all the state-of-the-art features and cost a cool $2.2 million new. We were able to fly up to Briggs, Idaho and eat at a restaurant called "Warbirds" which was located on the airstrip. Although very pricey, very tasty. Heather ordered a fish, that was freshly flown from Hawaii. I got a steak. It was a very romantic and fun time. Always nice to get away from the kids when possible.

Yet again, another blog update!

We have had some requests to update our cobweb filled blog. Jace got residency in Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Macomb. We will be soon moving closer to Detroit in about two months after Jace graduates. We are super excited!

Blog Update

Since some have complained that we never update the blog, here is an update. We had a baby on Dec. 28. His name is Chance Paul Fullmer and he is awesome.

Here is the picture of the rascal the other morning. Every morning he wakes up around 7:30 and just plays in his crib. Never cries (in the morning, because he can and will cry) just likes to smile. He is a morning person. His parents are not.

Some news for us, we will be living in Utah for the next two months for my (this is Jace) ER rotation at McKayDee Hospital and a Family Medicine rotation. We are very excited to see family! We will be living in Kaysville at my grandparent's house.

For more pictures of the gremlin see Heather's Facebook Page.

My Christmas Youtube Video!

As many of you know, it has been a family tradition to play the nativity movie with Amy Grant singing on the cd player together on Christmas eve. I finally made it myself and posted on youtube. So far I have had about 2500 views. Not too bad.... Heather and I will return to Utah by the end of this week! We look forward to Christmas with Heather's family and up at the cabin. I am most excited about the warthog, my dad's Snowcat!!!!!

A little political humor for the season

Two Different Versions! Two Different Morals!

OLD VERSION:The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building hishouse and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays thesummer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY:Be responsible for yourself

MODERN VERSION:The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his houseand laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays thesummer away.Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference anddemands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed whileothers are cold and starving.CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shiveringgrasshopper next to a video of the antin his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America isstunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper isallowed to suffer so?Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody crieswhen they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where thenews stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Jesse thenhasthe group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that theant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for animmediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share. Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Actretroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugsand, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscatedby the government.Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamationsuit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judgesthat Bill Clinton appointed from alist of single-parent welfare recipients. The ant loses the case. The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of theant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens to bethe ant's old house, crumbles around him because hedoesn't maintain it.The ant has disappeared in the snow. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, nowabandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the oncepeaceful neighborhood.
MORAL OF THE STORY:Be careful how you vote in 2008

We are moving to Grand Blanc, Michigan in June!!!

I will be rotating for the next two years at Genesys Regional. It's a huge hospital with many residencies including a duel accredited ER program, which I am somewhat interested in at the moment. Heather is using her connections to get lined up with the Kroger stores to work in their pharmacies. Its a great area for us to live and any future gremlins! We are REALLY excited. Sorry it has taken so long for an update (Michelle).

Jace's Summer Projects

Since I have been on summer break, while Heather is working, I have been busy working on projects that I have pushed off until now. Thank-goodness I have a garage!

This is my motorcycle that I have had for several years. That red strap is holding it up, suspended to the garage frame, yikes! I like this picture with no wheels on it.

This is Heather's scooter 'Sasha'. I am still trying to fix the mysterious oil leak that not even the manufacture can figure out! I have narrowed it down to a seal in the oil pump or the main crankshaft seal. I hate this thing, but I will like it when it is fixed and is getting 80 miles to the gallon!

I may post some more of my projects as I go!
